Memory Foam Mattress
The term memory foam mattress is used to refer to the mattress made from polyurethane and some other chemicals that are responsible for enhancing its viscosity level and eventually its density. Depending on the chemicals added plus the foam’s overall density, your memory foam mattress will be softer during warm nights and firmer in cool weathers. A lower-density memory foam is pressure-sensitive and molds quickly to the shape of a body pressing against it, returning to its original shape once the pressure is removed. The thicker the density of the memory foam mattress, the firmer the mattress, so if you or your partner are of heavy build, make sure you choose a thick enough mattress to support you comfortably.

Pocket Sprung Mattress
Pocket springing has become more affordable of late and is highly recommended because the springs work independently of one another meaning you won't affect your sleeping partner as you shift your position while sleeping. They also last longer as the mattress conforms to the shape of your body allowing pressure relief to your shoulders, back and hips. Pocket sprung mattresses contour to your body shape and offer more body support while you sleep. Each individual spring is housed within a fabric pocket meaning each spring will react to the pressure or person laying on it. Pocket spring mattresses offer greater lumbar support than open coil units as they have considerably more springs.
